The drawings look like poor quality copies of a faded book, and the language seems archaic, both of which hint at what this actually is. After buying it here on Amazon, I found it online for free with a 1944 publication date. I found nothing online about the author. This updated copy and the Amazon description make no reference to the previous publication dates, which smacks of deception to me. For all of these reasons, I can only give it two stars, and I rounded on the generous side.Product details

greatly informative book, one of the better that are featured here on . fairly and easily worded. when practically applying he techniques this book really helps to have read.
I bought this book for my son as he has become interested in taxidermy and he likes it! He says there is great information included on working in the home doing taxidermy projects. Thanks!

I enjoy taxidermy as a semi-hobby, and was pretty excited when I saw this book offered up for free on . Unfortunately, whoever did the conversion to a document failed to include any of the pictures/diagrams and so it's useless unless you want to read about outdated taxidermy techniques.
Just wanted to save some money on doing some of this myself. We raise pheasants and would like to mount one for us. Easy to read. Not sure how easy it is to stuff a bird, but have been working with other birds I have found dead to get it down before I work on one of our pheasants.
