I love this book!! As a former preschool teacher and para, working with Special Needs students, I find this book very helpful and clever, in explaining and sharing feelings. Using the dog, Heidi, helps to keep the students attention, as most children love animals. In this book, Heidi, has different moods, and feelings, ranging from mad, naughty, to happy and excited. Young children ages two to 12, will have fun looking at what Heidi does, when she expresses herself. I would recommend this book to all elementary teachers, special education teachers, and to parents or grandparents of young children. This book will help a child communicate to his teacher or parent, what he is feeling, when words aren't always easy to articulate. This is a must have book, for every child's library.
